Our first nomination comes from a kitchen where food is not just a meal, but a message of love and dignity.

The director of the Home for the Elderly and Disabled in Ilok, Darija Nikolić, nominated the entire kitchen team with the following explanation:
“As the director of the institution, I observe the work of our kitchen every day, since nutrition is one of the most important services for our residents. In addition to preparing and serving meals, the kitchen staff care for each resident with a smile and a kind word, pay attention to mood changes, health condition, appetite and absences, and report everything to other services. They are a very important link in the chain of our institution.”
