Why wait more than half an hour for an ambulance?

Most likely, the dispatcher performed excellent triage. I’m annoyed by critics of everything, and I’m not a fan of airing private problems on social media.

But this morning, after opening my eyes, I experienced some very unpleasant and unfamiliar neurological episodes.  😵‍💫 The fear was immense.

Location: Zagreb. The ambulance arrived more than half an hour later. By then, I realized that my life wasn’t in danger, and I believe that someone in triage was able to assess my symptoms.

With this post, I want to thank the emergency team who equipped and safely transported me to Rebro! 🙏🏻🫶

Thanks also to the Rebro neurology team who not only diagnosed my case, but also immediately “fixed” my compromised health and self-confidence. 👏🤗

I spent several hours in a packed emergency neurology department.

I observed from a position that was anything but comfortable.

I saw and heard a well-oiled, bustling machine, with no wasted words, and a lot of empathy.

Despite the occasional tense situation.

I have a message for everyone who complains about long wait times and how terrible healthcare systems are:  🫵

‼️ Stop complaining and making baseless accusations.

‼️ Be grateful to these people for choosing this profession!
