Last night, we gathered in a place that could not have been more fitting for our conversation: the Austrian Cultural Forum in Zagreb — a space that lives and breathes the intersection of culture, dialogue, and international connection.
And there truly was no better person to guide us than Marina Chrystoph, director of the AKF and current president of EUNIC.
Marina, thank you for your generosity, your openness, and for bringing us together in such an inspiring setting. Your insights offered us a rare glimpse into the fascinating space where culture, leadership, and diplomacy meet.
What made the evening especially powerful was the vibrant and thoughtful exchange among all the incredible women of the International Women’s Club Zagreb. The discussion was lively, honest, and deeply engaging — creating real added value for all of us.
One idea stayed with me:
Cultural institutions often build bridges where political dialogue becomes difficult. They create spaces where complex questions can be explored — through art, ideas, and conversation.
And perhaps most importantly:
Culture shapes how we see the world, how we understand each other, and how we imagine the future.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful evening. ✨
