I am a year late celebrating my 40-year milestone anniversary of working with and for seniors!
The only constants in my life are innovation, change, and adaptation. Combined with age, this results in missing an anniversary!

Sensation: Seniors are exercising!
Exactly 41 years ago, 29.05.1984, the daily newspaper Novi List published a short article about my work with the pensioners’ club Potok in Rijeka. I no longer remember if the exercises were held once or twice a week. I do remember being surprised at how out of shape the pensioners were. Today, I completely understand how it works.

Thank you Miljenka!
The room where we practiced is my former classroom at the Medical School, which is now the Faculty of Health Studies. Before studying medicine, I graduated from a physiotherapy high school. In addition to working with the pensioners’ club, I worked as a masseur in Opatija hotels and provided home therapy for stroke patients in Rijeka.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Miljenka Zule. My class teacher, professor, and mentor.

Timeless delights
They say that every time carries its burden. However, I only remember good things from that time. I remember going to Trieste to buy jeans, oil, and coffee. Enjoying pizza at Dionis. Neptun in Bakarac. Milde Sorte in Opatija (sorry, Volosko).

What did I want to achieve by celebrating the anniversary?
I wanted to announce the continuation of American investment and the continuation of the family medical tradition in Delnice. I am pleased to announce the decision to develop the American Business Center and the Mountain Medical Center.
